The twins woke up on a rainy Saturday morning. Bill had always been the heavy sleeper who never woke up at the sound of the early alarm. All the time it had been Tom's job to wiggle him out of bed. The process repeated once again.
"Nnff.. Tomi stop!" Bill's eyes were still closed while Tom shook his shoulders to wake.
"Bill! We're going shopping today remember?!" They hardly got to go out and shop. If they did, it was usually once a month. When by shopping, that means going to buy clothing and toys. Not groceries. Immediately at the second Tom stated that, Bill jumped over his twin and rushed to the closet. Tom merely smiled and helped himself into a pair of blue jeans and a green sweater. He waited for Bill to appear out of the closet while he combing his blonde hair. Tom's hair was now past his ear length, so was Bill's. They had not cut their hair in a few months now, and had no plans for it any sooner. Once the slightly younger boy walked out of the closet he was dressed in his everyday clothing, much to Tom's utter surprise. He squinted making sure he saw everything correctly. The older twin then realized that Bill did not own such clothing as he dreamt too. That must be the reason for his excitement to the shopping center.
The door slowly crept open and Simone walked in with a smile on her face.
"Are you ready boys?" Simone began to with comb Tom's dirty blonde hair.  The older twin smiled at his mother totally forgetting about the incident with her last night. He let his mother's slender fingers break away the knots in his glossy straight hair. Once the brushing was finished, she kissed her son's cheek and waited for her second son to let her comb. Simone called for Bill and slid her fingers down his now black hair. The dye wouldn't ware off until a few days. This made her somewhat upset. Bill's hair was fuzzy and sticking up all over the place. Simone lifted the comb to his hair only to be shoved away.
"Before you brush my hair momma, can you make it spikey?" the young boy picked at his hair and made hand gestures explaining exactly how he wanted his hair to be dressed today.
"Mmm, okay Bill. That will require some hair spray and that means no playing with your hair constantly." Simone honestly didn't know how she felt about all this. She was so confused and constantly wanted her boys to live a happy life all the time. This was just too astonishing. "Tom, go to my room and grab the spray bottle. It's on my dresser." Tom gladly obeyed and took hold of the bottle of hair spray.
Once he got back Simone began styling Bill's hair. His shoulder length artificially black hair was pulled up making little spikes on the top of his head. After it was all done, Bill looked through the mirror and petted the tip of the spikes making sure the spray truly worked.
"What do you think Bill?" Simone smiled and kissed her second son just like she had done with her first twin.
"It's awesome! Thank you Momma." And with that they shared a mother son embrace. Tom smiled lovingly at his family from the bunk. He leaped off and all three headed out the room's door.

"Gordon dear, I'm taking the boys shopping. Want to come with us?" Simone took her purse and car keys to get ready.
"Sure." The twin's step-father smiled affectionately and headed his family to the van.

The diminutive family stopped at the shopping center slowly. Bill grabbed the door handle and pushed the door open with his feet. Next came to Tom, then the joyful couple. They merrily entered the doors and instantly Bill's eyes caught something shiny. He ran to touch a glittering large leather jacket with reflecting studs and smooth textures.
"Wow…" he breathed and continued feeling the leather. "This is so cool Tomi." When Tom heard his name he walked over and observed the coat as well. He truly loved it as much as Bill did. It was absolutely fascinating to the boys.
"You two like this? I used to wear this kind of stuff all the time back when." Gordon now also came forward to approach the jacket.
The four began moving again to the children's section. The twins explored the various amounts of boy's clothing in their age. There wasn't much to them. Tom had spotted a pair of dark blue jeans that came with a brown belt.
"Bill doesn't this look cool?" Tom walked over tangling the jeans from the hanger in front of Bill. His twin smiled and agreed that, yes, the jeans were 'cool'.
In the end, Tom picked up a few sweat shirts considering the winter season was just about to start. He also took the pair of jeans he admired earlier, new pair of sneakers, and a cap that read "Deutschland" through the center. On the other hand, Bill was picking out the darkest clothing possible in the children's section. He grabbed a dark blue t-shirt with grey stripes sliding through it. A pair of checkered red and grey shorts, the same jeans Tom took, and navy blue sneakers.
Simone smiled when her twins came to her hand full of clothing. She took them from their little slender hands and placed them in the cart.
"Do you want to look at some accessories now?" Simone asked tilting her head to the left as she observed the clothing they chose themselves.
"Yes Momma!" Bill chirped in eyeing Tom with a large grin. Tom smiled back and they skipped to the aisle of accessories. There they saw lots of jewelry, hats, scarves, gloves, and anything else you'd wear as extra. Bill examined and admired all the necklaces, bracelets, but mostly the necklaces. He picked at the shiny, glittery silver ones with little beads. Many of the necklaces had the cross attached on the strings which were also covered in sparkles. The crosses were vaguely large and when Bill held up to his eyes, he could see his own reflection. This attracted his attention and he instantaneously added this to his mother's cart. Bill went through more rows of shimmering necklaces picking out the most exhilarating ones. However, the other boy was checking out the hats. He tried on an assortment of caps and beanies. In all, the boys had gathered up a total of eleven accessories. They reached the part where they would now pay.
The twins approached the cashier. The cashier was quite tall and had the most extraordinary hair the boy's had ever seen. His hair was long, coiled and twisted into thick tubes of brown hair. The teller's features were so masculine and he wore a grey beanie tightened around his head.
"Woah.. what do you call that hair mister?" Tom asked full of amazement. His eyes gazed at the man and thought to himself how miraculous he looked.
The cashier chuckled and answered, "dread locks" and winked at the boys. The items they purchased soon took the man's attention off the kids and he did his work.
"Bill aren't those… dread locks, SO wicked!" Tom cheerfully shared his opinion to his brother still gawking at the dreaded man.
"Yeah! Do you want hair like that Tomi?" the twins connected eye contact and the older one chimed a pleased yes with a nod. "You'd look so cool with it. You should ask Momma if you could get your hair like that." The cashier now drew his notice back to the twins. This time it was to their funny little conversation about his hair. He smiled and gave the twins a quick wink.
"How long did it take to get your hair like that?" Tom asked him while bouncing happily against the shopping cart. The cashier answered him with 'a few months' and with that, the family left the shop.

Once they arrived home the two brothers sat at the dinner table waiting for their lunch. After they ate, the family gathered around the living room. Tom skipped up the stairs to his shared bedroom and fetched his guitar. It was one of the most valuable items he ever possessed. The boy played it every day either after school, or after lunch on weekends.
"So.. has rockstar Tom got any new songs to play for us today?" Simone asked sitting down on the sofa. The future guitarist giggled and hopped onto the couch next to his brother.
"Do you wan'tah sing something?" Tom inquired Bill nudging into his shoulder. The other twin nodded and Tom began strumming his guitar strings. It took a while for Bill to recognize the music but eventually realized it was a song they had written together about roller coasters and how they'd love to have their very own in their backyard. It was a silly song, but they liked it.
After their performance Simone clapped and hugged her boys.
"When did you two write this? I've never heard it before." She asked ruffling Bill's shorts.
"On our ninth birthday Momma!" they both responded together.

-

No matter how silly or funny their songs were, no matter how young, immature, or bubbly they seemed; their songs were written deep from the heart. Why, anyone could argue the lyrics were little jumble of words and silly sentences; but to the boys? No, what it meant to them is that once the big red crayon hit the thin lined paper, and wide characters scribbled across the page; this made them soar. To be able to write together, and write what they felt and wanted was all what was needed. Indeed their newest song was about roller coasters, although, this just what they wanted. They'd see other kids scream of terror but also giggle hysterically from the swoons in their stomachs. They'd seen how shaky and how the children trembled after the ride, however, they were grinning. Yes, the twins had ridden on this amusement before, only once though. After it they rambled on and on to their mother about how they'd LOVE to have one in their own backyard.
So young, but so diligent, mainly of each other. They had dreams, big ones two.
"I wanna be a rock star! Bwnawn nawn naw-w-w!!"
"Tomi, we could have our OWN roller coaster at home! And a big red one too, with lights that flicker on and off at night. That'd be SO awesome."
"'Could be a leader or somethin'.. sort of like Daddy Gordy, Bill. What'dya think?"
"Oh! Mommy, she's so pretty… and momma?" – "Who made that? It's so cool." – "Really? Boys can make and create that stuff too? Wow, awesome."
Model? Maybe so…

-

"Mmm.. Tomi 5th grade graduation is coming up. We're going to go to Middle School! This'll be so cool. "Cheerful identical smiles eyed the mirror. The boys were now trying on their graduation suits. They were dressed the same, both in black simple tuxedos with a white tie. Of course, individuality was major with the twins. Bill added some silver necklace with little shape charms and he picked up a black rose pin from the counter of their still shared bedroom. It was a cloth black rose with a pin attached to the back. Bill rose it to his brother's chest and pinned it into the dark tux.
"What is that?" Tom asked picking at the rose.
"A rose… I found it a long time ago when we went to the amusement park when we were seven remember? I washed it up now and I want you to have it Tomi." He replied with a hug and the barley older twin answered the same.

The only problem was, they didn't know that 6th grade wasn't what has been thought of. The classes don't get more mature, it's not enjoyable to feel older than elementary school kids. In fact, classes get immature, students and teachers, and being in the first year of junior high makes you the youngest. Being the youngest makes you the most picked on. Being the most picked on, makes you miserable. It's all too bad the twins were so excited. That's okay though.

The two twins had finished their graduation party and was now stepping out of the assembly room waiting for their parents to follow suite. They had their little celebration as a morning one. They were no longer 5th graders, but eleven year olds, and to them, 'young teenagers'.
"Okay Momma, where was that you wanted to take us?" Tom asked twirling his short stubby dread locks with a finger and in his other hand he held a lollipop which he was sucking on.
"It's a surprise. Find Gordon and we'll drive you boys there." Simone answered smiling sweetly. Her little boys were growing so fast. They still appeared one of the youngest looking children in their grade, but they were still growing. They had the adorable round baby face, but had long limbs and arms. Their heights defeating most the kid's in their classes'.
They got into the car fit for exactly only four passengers, buckled their seat belts and looking determinedly out the window, eagerly wanting to know where to. The family drove for many minutes, which was not common for them. Usually they didn't drive more than ten minutes at the maximum. They never needed to. It was a small town with all needy things there. Grocery store, Clothing store, schools, day cares, barber shops, small coffee shops, and anything else you'd desperately need. The town didn't have anything extra or fancy. It was just a town of people and children, of simple things, for simple people – for now. For now, they were simple people. For now.

"Ughhm, this is taking forever. How far is wherever we're going Gordaaan?" Bill asked slumped to one side of the car door and playing with his tie.
"Just another twenty minutes okay? Hold on buddy it's going to be worth the wait. Trust me." The 'step father' (the boys considered him as their father, since no else was their to play that fatherly role but mister Gordon Trumper. Who meant a lot to the twins) answered and winked even though Bill could not see it.
"Um, okay." He shifted his eyes to the left to face Tom. "Tomi, do you wanna play a game? Like, "I spy"? Andi said he always played that on field trips at his old school. Wanna play?"
"Yah. Okay, you start Bill." Bill smiled and looked out the window. He picked out a horse standing there, surrounded by a large white fence and many trees. The younger twin described the horse as 'a beautiful mammal with gorgeous 'hair''. Tom slightly smirked. "You."
Bill frowned in confusion the first few seconds the one syllable word flew off his brother's tongue, but eventually understood. "Oh, um no, but close." He smiled and then they began laughing.
"What's so funny, kids?" Simone asked turning around.
"Umm.. that- that duck over there Momma!" Bill randomly pointed to a duck waddling on the rail of the road.
"Oh, okay."

Time passed and they played "I Spy" the entire trip. However, near the last five minutes, Bill closed his eyes and temporarily went to sleep.
"Oh my God…. It's-we're at the amusement park Bill look! Wake up!" Tom looked out the window with amazement but then turned to shake Bill out of his brief nap. The younger kid snapped awake and gawked at the scenery.
"What the, wow. Tomi… roller coasters! Over there!" Bill pointed insanely at the glassed window wanting to tear the door handle off it run outside to ride with his Tomi on the coasters, but Momma said wait.
"Bill, Tom, I brought you some clothing you could change into so you don't mess your nice tuxedo's here. Come on, you can change in the car. No one will see you. The windows are black from the outside." She smiled helpfully and handed them a pair of identical shorts and a T-shirt. That's how Momma dressed them; the same. They didn't like to be the same, exactly the SAME. They did consider themselves as the "same" person but they didn't mean it like this. They were halves. Not fully whole. They were two halves of the whole. Like two halves of a pie. Too bad the twins didn't eat pie. Too bad in Germany, pies don't exist. That's fine, they ate cake.
"Momma…" Tom asked slowly.
"Yes dear?"
"Why did you give us the same clothes? Didn't you know we wanna dress you know, differently?" he asked shooting an eyebrow at her. He held the clothes uneasily. The clothing was so bleak and plain. The t-shirt contained orange and yellow plaid with buttons running through the middle. The shorts were plain blue. Defiantly something you'd see on an eight year old. They were eleven. They wanted to look "cool". Simone then handed them identical white sneakers.
"Oh.. well, at least you can get them dirty since you obviously don't seem to care about it." She smiled and sat out of the car so they could get dressed.

"I don't want to look the same.." Tom stated looking over at Bill who was fidgeting with his tie, attempting to get it off.
"Well, we don't anyways. My hair is black and spikey, yours' is blonde dreadlocks. Plus, you're skinnier." Bill responded.
"I'm not skinnier!" he retorted.
"Yeah you are. I weigh two kilos more. Plus, I'm a centimeter taller." Bill winked and took off the vest of his tuxedo. Tom sighed and rested his right hand on his cheek bone not bothering to change into new clothing. He honestly hated the idea of Bill being slightly bigger than him. Weren't MEN the bigger one? They were taller, and weighed more! Tom picked at his arms, then turned to observe Bill's. They were the same. The eldest twin removed his tie, vest, shirt, and undershirt. Bill had begun putting on the orange plaid shirt but had not yet removed his tux pants and shoes. Tom watched as Bill pulled down his pants and Tom did the same; removed his own. He stared at his twin's long thin legs then at his own. They were the same as well. Tom frowned. Then why did Bill say he weighed more? He started to think about when his science teacher taught about heights and weights. Tom recalled the memory of her speaking about when one is taller, it causes them to weigh more than the shorter ones around them. The boy shifted his lips to the side and felt confronted by no one; but he still felt it.
Bill poked at Tom's shoulder. "Tomi, put on your shoes come on, let's get on the roller coasters already!" Tom stood up and smiled, did at what he was commanded to, and head out the car door.

The boys took Gordon with them to the roller coasters while Simone chatted with some of her girl friends.
"Come on Gordon! Run faster! Tom and I want to get their faaaaast!" Bill ran passed everyone at the park  with Tom being far ahead then his 'father'.
"Gah, wait up! Don't run too fast please!" Gordon shouted finally catching up to the boys which were now his responsibility. He truly felt they were his children since he didn't have any of his own to start with. He only lived with them for four years now, but it felt longer. Gordon never had plan for children. He'd seen them as very annoying stubborn people who don't listen until the threats come along. However, the Kaulitz Twins had changed that all for the man.
Now they stood facing the large exhilarating roller coaster which was painted white and had people of all ages screaming on it. The twins gasped and grinned at the sight; stopping right in front of it, forgetting about getting in line, and just gawked at it.
"Wow.." Bill whispered.
"Yeah.. – Come on now. The last ride is almost over! It's almost our turn!" Tom yanked on Bill's minuscule thin wrist and dragged him to the line where many children, mostly older than them, were standing.
They stood in line. The line passed by extremely slowly for them. The excitement just boiling in their stomachs, desperately wanting to run passed all these idiotic people who were making them wait. Tom had that urge; to just once again grab his brother by the wrist and pull them to the very front of the line.
"Hello, welcome to the newest roller coaster here. The "Sonic Fusion Super Hero"." A young man with blonde hair and red face answered boringly. He was obviously very hot in the summer sun, but mostly plain bored. Having to repeat the same sentence God knows how many times a day had the young man rolling his eyes at every new set of people. Although the twins completely ignored him, didn't even hear what in the world he just said and ran in getting into a cart. They sat next to one another in the front row seat. Gordon stepped in behind them.
"Okay now, this might be a rough ride, so did you boys put the seat belts?" Gordon asked over their shoulders. The twins nodded.

"Ride starts in, 3, 2, -BEEP" and the cart flew across the rail with full speed as the twins screamed of suddenness. The air practically forced them to scream. If you did not scream on such a ride, your stomach would ache and you'd most likely throw up. There was no choice, scream as loud as you can even between your giggles, it'd prevent that. After all, nobody wanted two gorgeous twins to come back vomiting after they had just fulfilled one of their greatest dreams.
I know it took a while to update but I was banned from the computer for a week >.>
